VIA Health Partners Lake Norman

VIA Health Partners, formerly Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, was established in 1978 and remains the area’s trusted and experienced hospice care provider.  As a community-based, nonprofit healthcare organization, VIA Health Partners is committed to serving all who need us regardless of age, medical complexity, or ability to pay.  Nearly five decades ago VIA Health Partners was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers who saw our friends and neighbors as people, not just patients approaching the end of life.  That same spirit animates our work still today across 32 counties in North and South Carolina.

VIA Health Partners provides comprehensive hospice and palliative services to medically eligible patients.  It also provides specialized pediatric care to children coping with life limiting illnesses, free bereavement counseling to anyone who needs it, and is recognized as an industry leader in helping veterans and families navigate life’s final mission.

The David Moore Foundation is a non-profit public charity with the mission of raising awareness and funds to support research and care of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Soul to Sole Connection

Soul to Sole Connection, a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to the mental health of America’s military and first responders.  We provide FREE counseling and wellness services to veterans, service members, first responders and their families, focused on healing from trauma on our private 50-acre farm.

America, especially our military and first responders, is enthralled in a mental health crisis that demands action. The unique demands placed on service members, first responders and their families can lead to tragic consequences:  PTSD, depression, divorce, drug & alcohol addiction, and suicide. These challenges deserve our most effective healing methods – The Horses and Nature!

S.A.F.E. LKN – Street Access For Everyone

Our nonprofit (SAFE) was formed in 2020 after a fellow cyclist and local legend was struck and killed in Mooresville on his way home from one of his many weekly 100 mile bike rides. Cyclists have always had the legal right to use the full lane and we want motorists to know the law as well. These signs make existing law known road users. Streets are not just for motor vehicles. They are transportation pathways used for many types of vehicles, motorized or otherwise. We exist to make these streets safe for all users including bicycles, pedestrians, motor vehicles.
