A Ride Worth Showing Up For

Located just 20 miles north of Charlotte, Davidson is a charming college town known throughout the Southeast as a pedestrian, pet, and bicycle-friendly community. Every August, 550+ cyclists from across the country converge on Davidson Town Green for one of the most beloved charity rides in the Carolinas.

The Village Green hosts all event activities, situated on Main Street in the heart of downtown Davidson across from Davidson College. After the ride, the Mayor of Davidson welcomes riders back to town with live music, followed by the Josey Wails Band. Relax with light food, music, and a post-ride beer.

Be sure to enjoy Davidson's many quaint shops, restaurants, greenways, bike lanes, and parks — or explore one of the 18 breweries, beer and wine shops in the surrounding Lake Norman area.
